I’m Bridgett Collinga digital marketer doing social good.

I’m an expert in digital media and strategic communications. I love bringing the message of diverse, authentic and socially responsible companies and organizations to a larger audience, especially in digital spaces. I’ve managed digital media accounts across the third coast and as far as Quito, Ecuador, and I’m inspired by the accessibility and democracy of the web. In the past, I’ve dabbled in event planning, public relations and radio. You can check out some of the work that I’m proudest of in my portfolio.

I was born and raised in southeast Michigan. I moved to the west side of the state to attend Kalamazoo College, where I studied Human Development and Social Relations, Economics and Media Studies. While in college, I studied abroad in Ecuador and wrote a thesis on social media, marketing and human development.

I currently reside in Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. I serve on the Events Committee at Step Up Women’s Network, which provides leadership training and mentorship opportunities for high school girls. In 2015, I founded the Chicago chapter of Women Get It Done, an organization dedicated to building a powerful network of diverse women across generations.

In my spare time, I work on my passion project, Awesome Resume, editing resumes and cover letters to help people land their dream jobs.

I love a good challenge and a strong cup of coffee, and I’m blessed to encounter both every day.

I am always looking for new mentors, collaborators and opportunities. Feel free to reach out to me at bridgett.colling@gmail.com.
